After nearly two weeks of living in a camper trailer and motel rooms, we are finally home after the authorities lifted the evacuation order for our fair city and the surrounding area. We thank the Lord for looking after our City as the fires stayed on the perimeter and did not touch any homes, (including ours). We also very much thank all the firefighting crews that kept those fires at bay.
So now it will take a few days to get back into the normality of life, including getting back to work. We are still under an evacuation alert and all could go sideways again this summer, but we will pray that God will not let that happen again.
Thank you for all your prayers, and we hope to be back blogging the news of the week very shortly.
