The UN Security Council Has Just Officially Given Every Inch Of East Jerusalem To The Palestinians

Prophecy Sign: Israel - Alone - with only God at her side at the end

Another Christmas has come and gone, and the goodwill usually associated with this time of the year didn't last long as the Obama Administration sucker-punched Israel with a United Nations duck and hide disappearance at the UN Security Council prior to Christmas.  Rather than following decades of policy, Obama couldn't resist one last slap in the face towards Israel and her Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, by allowing a Security Council resolution which condemns Israel, (of course), and offers up a boat load of goodies for the Palestinians, (including recognition of East Jerusalem as belonging to them, Temple Mount included), to pass unobstructed.

Now Israel has even more reason to worry as there is talk Obama is not finished with his end of term Israeli surprise package, and is considering another UN Security Council resolution.  This one would set up the guidelines for a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians and circumvent any ability of Israel to present its own model for negotiations.  Russia is now chomping at the bit, as she looks to play a key role in attempting to achieve the ever elusive golden goal of peace between Israel and the many, (Daniel 9:27).

So now what?  How does this change things?  Well for one thing, God will not be happy with the Obama Administration, which may result in another epic disaster on the horizon for America.  Many time before, moves that seek to divide the Holy Land did not end well for the nation that is at the heart of the move:

10 Times That God Has Hit America With A Major Disaster After The U.S. Attempted To Divide The Land Of Israel

Secondly, this move is just another in a long list to render Israel friendless at the end of the days, with only God Almighty in her corner.

I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. Joel 3:2 NIV

This will set up a situation where the nations of the world who claim to support Israel will give only give a weak rebuke to the nations that seek to invade Israel during the coming Gog/Magog Middle-East war

Sheba and Dedan and the merchants of Tarshish and all her villages will say to you, "Have you come to plunder? Have you gathered your hordes to loot, to carry off silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods and to seize much plunder? Ezekiel 38:13 NIV

Ultimately God wants Israel to be in a position where the only one they can turn to in the time of  their distress will be Jesus Christ himself.  Israel will once and for all recognize Jesus as Messiah and will call out to him, the one they pierced:

"And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have pierced, and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son. Zechariah 12:10 NIV

These events are just further evidence that the stage is nearly set for the final performance and we should be looking upwards, for Christ is ready to catch home the Church, and God is about to turn his attention towards Israel once again.

The UN Security Council Has Just Officially Given Every Inch Of East Jerusalem To The Palestinians
Barack Obama has just made the worst decision of his entire presidency.  On Friday, the UN Security Council adopted resolution 2334, and this never would have happened without the support and approval of Barack Obama.  Since the United States has veto power on the Security Council, no resolution can ever pass unless the United States allows it to pass.  For decades, it has been the policy of the U.S. government to veto all anti-Israel resolutions at the Security Council, and the Israeli government had been expecting that Barack Obama would not suddenly change that policy at the very end of his second term.
Most of the news headlines about resolution 2334 refer to “Israeli settlements”, but the reality of the matter is that this resolution is about much more than that.  The truth is that this resolution has established legally binding parameters for a “two-state solution” that Israel will never accept, and this includes giving every inch of East Jerusalem to the Palestinians.

‘Obama could harm Israel on his last day in office'
Foreign affairs experts are warning that the diplomatic upheavals caused by US President Obama's conduct on the UN vote are not necessarily his last word on Israel. At the cabinet meeting yesterday the experts on foreign affairs presented a scenario in which Obama could even on his last day in office cause harm to Israel. The concern is that Obama may promote a move in the UN Security Council giving guidelines for a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians and the establishment of a Palestinian state. Israel would find it hard to present an alternative model after these guidelines are set.

Russia: Only direct talks can bring peace
Despite being one of the 14 member-states of the Security Council to vote in favor of the anti-Israel resolution last week, Russia said on Monday that the only way to achieve a peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority (PA) is through direct negotiations. “Our experience shows convincingly that a two-state solution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict is only possible through direct talks between Palestinians and Israelis without any preconditions,” said a statement from the foreign ministry in Moscow.
