TRIGGER WARNING Meet ‘Generation Snowflake’

Prophecy Sign:  The disappearance of wisdom and discernment

The disappearance of wisdom and the exponential growth of foolishness and stupidity is mindbogglingly to say the least.  We have bred a generation of feeble minded young people seemingly incapable of contending with ideas that conflict with their idyllic Utopian rose colored version of life.  No longer are ideas debated from both sides of the perspective but rather if an idea or concept is outside the politically correct collective it is hunted down and forced out by the new Snowflake thought police.  Had the Apostle Paul attempted to give his dissertation on the one true God, (Acts 17), in this current environment he would have forced to provide safe spaces and trigger warnings prior to his impassioned speech.

But they are altogether stupid and foolish In their discipline of delusion-- their idol is wood! Jeremiah 10:8 NASB

TRIGGER WARNING Meet ‘Generation Snowflake’ – the hysterical young women who can’t cope with being offended

A top British thinker has claimed young women are in the grip of a “hysteria” which has made them unable to cope with being offended. Claire Fox, head of a thinktank called the Institute of Ideas, has penned a coruscating critique of “Generation Snowflake”, the name given to a growing group of youngsters who “believe it’s their right to be protected from anything they might find unpalatable”. She said British and American universities are dominated by cabals of young women who are dead set on banning anything they find remotely offensive. “It makes me sad that these teens and 20-somethings have become so fearful that they believe a dissenting opinion can pose such a serious threat,” Fox wrote in an article for Mail Online.

Why today’s young women are just so FEEBLE: They can’t cope with ANY ideas that challenge their right-on view of the world, says a top academic
In March, Cambridge University banned an ‘Around The World in 80 Days’ themed party over fears wearing ethnic costumes might cause offence. Students demand that universities are ‘safe spaces’, free from opinions that will make them feel uncomfortable. There has been a rise in ‘No platforming’ - barring someone with controversial views from speaking at an event at all. Faced with such thin-skinned students, no wonder Oxford University has introduced ‘trigger warnings’ about ‘potentially distressing subject matter’ in law lectures on cases involving sexual violence. Never mind that a future in criminal law will mean dealing with all the unpleasant aspects of human experience. The list goes on. And on.

White, straight, able-bodied man? You can't attend equality summit: Lecturers' union members must declare their 'protected characteristic' when applying to attend
A lecturers’ union is refusing to let its officers take part in debates at an equality summit if they are white, straight, able-bodied men. The equality conference of the University and College Union said that members must declare their ‘protected characteristic’ – whether they are gay, disabled, female or from an ethnic minority – when applying to attend. Activists say that it means representatives who do not qualify cannot participate in all of the discussions – even though they have been elected by their union branch. They would be barred from ‘break-out’ sessions that organisers claim are a ‘safe space’ for those with the ‘protected characteristics’ to talk openly about their situations. There are four sections of the conference – for women, LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) people, ethnic minorities and those with disabilities.
