Netanyahu, Kerry said set to meet next week in new peace bid

Prophecy Sign:  The future seven year covenant of peace

When the time is right, God will remove on of the last hedges that protect Israel from itself.  He will allow a changeover in government to a leader far more willing to give up everything for peace. According to a Times of Israel article, Israel's Opposition leader was ready and willing to give up East Jerusalem, the entire West Bank and would return Israel to 1967 lines, all for that elusive peace deal with the Arab world.
He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Daniel 9:27 NIV

Netanyahu, Kerry said set to meet next week in new peace bid
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is reportedly to meet early next week with US Secretary of State John Kerry to discuss ways to revive Israeli-Palestinian peace efforts. Israel’s Channel 2 said the meeting would take place in a European capital. The Prime Minister’s Office did not immediately confirm the meeting, saying it would “make an announcement when there is something to announce.” The TV report said Netanyahu would tell Kerry he backs potential Egyptian-led efforts to revive negotiations, rather than the international approach being pushed by France.

Backing French peace push, EU ministers add carrots to sweeten deal
The European Union on Monday proposed “concrete” incentives for Israelis and Palestinians to restart peace negotiations at a peace summit later this year in Paris. During their monthly meeting in Brussels, the EU’s 28 foreign ministers tasked the European Commission and the EU’s External Action Service — its equivalent of a foreign ministry — to make a “concrete and substantial contribution” to international efforts seeking to revitalized the stalled Israeli-Palestinian peace process through a “global set of incentives” for both two parties.

Herzog held secret talks with Abbas, agreed to return to ’67 lines — report
Opposition leader Isaac Herzog reportedly held secret talks with PA President Mahmoud Abbas during the 2015 election, and agreed to cede the entire West Bank and East Jerusalem to the Palestinians as part of a future peace deal, Channel 10 reports. Herzog’s negotiator and a PA representative were said to reach an agreement under which Palestinian refugees would receive financial compensation, the Western Wall would remain under Israeli control, and Israel would retain a “symbolic” military presence in the Jordan Valley, alongside Palestinian and Jordanian soldiers. The opposition leader was willing to return to the 1967 lines in full, with mutual land swaps on 4 percent of the territory, the report says.
