Prophecy Sign: Kingdom against Kingdom
Europe continues to deal with a tidal wave of Muslim migrants which if not reigned in soon will see a huge rise in anti-immigration sentiment across the EU. A situation of Kingdom, (Ethnos), against Kingdom, (Ethnos). Austria may soon become the first European nation to elect a right-wing anti-immigrant President with elections just days away.
When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.” Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. Luke 21:9-10 NIV
Europe migrant crisis: EU faces 'populist uprising'
Europe faces a "populist uprising" if it is unable to show people it can control the migrant crisis, former MI6 head Sir Richard Dearlove has said. He was speaking on the BBC's World on the Move day on migration issues. Sir Richard also warned against offering visa-free travel to Turkish nationals, describing the move as like storing gasoline near a fire. Earlier, UN special envoy Angelina Jolie Pitt warned the humanitarian system for refugees was breaking down. She spoke of a "fear of migration" and a "race to the bottom" as countries competed to be the toughest to protect themselves.
Sir Richard said the numbers of immigrants coming into Europe over the next five years could run into millions. The crisis could reshape the continent's geopolitical landscape, he said. "If Europe cannot act together to persuade a significant majority of its citizens that it can gain control of its migratory crisis then the EU will find itself at the mercy of a populist uprising, which is already stirring," he added.
Interpol: 800,000 Migrants Ready To Head To EU
An estimated 800,000 migrants are waiting in Libya to cross into Europe and there is an increased possibility that terrorists will try to cross with them, a report by Interpol and Europol says. The conclusions of the international policing groups have been seized on by Leave campaigners who want the UK to quit the EU. The report states: "While a systematic link between migrant smuggling and terrorism is not proven, there is an increased risk that foreign terrorist fighters may use migratory flows to (re)enter the EU."
‘Austria to your feet’: Will Austria be the first EU nation to elect a far-right president?
With Austria’s presidential election on May 22, Europe’s rightward march is coming full circle – back to the birthplace, three decades ago, of the “New Right” movement now sweeping the continent. Austria’s far-right Freedom Party (FPÖ) is no longer an outlier, but just one of dozens of anti-immigrant, Islamophobic parties between Finland and Greece that are upending Europe’s liberal consensus.
