Zika threatens TWO BILLION people across the world

Prophecy Sign:  Pestilence, plagues and disease

So what happens when society and infrastructure as we know it collapses due to the ravages of war? Generally two things; Famine and disease arise out of the chaos to take many lives.  There are diseases all across this globe of ours that given the right circumstances have the potential to take millions of lives.  That is precisely what the bible warns will happen.

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:8 NIV

Zika threatens TWO BILLION people across the world
More than two billion people are at risk of Zika virus, experts warn, as they reveal a new map that indicates those areas at greatest risk. The southeastern US, including much of Texas to Florida, have ideal conditions for the virus to spread. Meanwhile, a large portion of tropical and subtropical regions also have highly suitable environmental conditions, and are on the at-risk list. In total, these areas are inhabited by more than 2.17 billion people, scientists at the University of Oxford and the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation in Seattle, estimate. Researchers produced a fine-scale global map of Zika virus transmission, as part of their study.

WHO issues yellow fever warning as deadly outbreak grows
Amid rising concern over a deadly outbreak of yellow fever spreading from Angola, the World Health Organization on Tuesday urged travelers to the African country to heed its warnings and get vaccinated. At least 258 people have been killed and there have been around 1,975 suspected cases of the mosquito-borne disease since an epidemic erupted in December 2015. It has already grown to become the worst outbreak in decades. Yellow fever is transmitted by the same mosquitoes that spread the Zika and dengue viruses, although it is a far more serious disease with death rates as high as 75 percent in severe cases requiring admission to hospital.
