Russia Prepares Once Again To Become "Great Power" And Challenge The US

Prophecy Sign:  The rise of Gog and the Land of Magog, (Russia and it's Leader)

Russia has been very busy of late re-establishing itself as a global super-power and is making great inroads in the Middle-East rebuilding alliances. Right on queue, the nation from the farthest most northerly parts is getting ready to plays it's role in God's future plans for Israel.

The word of the Lord came to me:  “Son of man, set your face against Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshek and Tubal; prophesy against him  and say: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against you, Gog, chief prince of Meshek and Tubal. I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army. Ezekiel 38:1-4 NIV

I will turn you around and drag you along. I will bring you from the far north and send you against the mountains of Israel. Ezekiel 39:2 NIV

Russia Prepares Once Again To Become "Great Power" And Challenge The US
These latest provocations by Russia may provide insight into a military that is now willing to challenge the US similar to the cold war days. Russian President Vladimir Putin is rebuilding Russia's military capability to restore it to "great power" status and is doing it fast thanks to a large population base with a highly trained workforce and a budget of almost $50 Billion annually.  With over 140 million people and 13 million college graduates, Russia has nearly a million first-class scientists, engineers and technicians, most of whom work for the military. The Russian military complex is turning out new weapons technology at a rapid pace, many designed to counter US weapons systems. The US has reason to be concerned and has tasked Lieutenant General H.R. McMaster to oversee a high-level government panel intended to figure out how the military should adapt to this Russian wake-up call.

Obama Requests EU Support for Possible War Against Russia
According to Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten (German Economic News), on April 23rd, U.S. President Barack Obama is “demanding the active deployment of the Bundeswehr [Germany’s armed forces, including their Army, Navy, and Air Force] to NATO’s eastern borders” at Poland and the Baltic republics, to join the quadrupling of America’s forces there, on and near those borders of Russia. Furthermore, DWN reports that on April 25th, the U.S. President will hold a “summit meeting” in Hannover Germany with the leaders of Germany (Angela Merkel), Italy (Matteo Renzi), France (Francois Hollande), and Britain (David Cameron). The presumed objective of this meeting is to establish in NATO’s countries bordering on Russia, a military force of all five countries that are headed by these leaders, a force threatening Russia with an invasion, if NATO subsequently decides that the ‘threat from Russia’ be ‘responded to’ militarily.

US Army general: Next time Russian jets buzz US ships, it may not end well for them
Russia should be warned that its dangerous flybys of US ships and planes could be met by force, President Barack Obama's nominee as the next NATO and US European Command commander said Thursday. "Sir, I believe that should be known — yes," Army Gen. Curtis M. "Mike" Scaparrotti said when asked by Sen. John McCain whether Russia should be told that the US would take action if American lives were endangered.
