Priests Practice for Third Temple in Authentic Reenactment of Biblical Temple Service

Prophecy Sign:  Sacrifices and offerings at the future Third Jewish Temple

We know from bible prophecy that there will be a Third Temple build in the City of Jerusalem which will ultimately be desecrated by non other than the 'Man of Sin', (Antichrist).  It would also seem that the sacrificial system  and Jewish celebrations will be revived along with the Temple.  We know this because the Antichrist will enter that new Temple and put a stop to the proceedings.  Not surprising then that the Jewish religious leaders of today are planning and training for these future Jewish traditions to be conducted in the new Temple when built.

He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." Daniel 9:27 NIV

Priests Practice for Third Temple in Authentic Reenactment of Biblical Temple Service

A special ceremony was held in the Cardo in Jerusalem on Thursday, March 10th. It was the beginning of the month of Adar, or, to be precise, the second day of Rosh Chodesh Adar Bet. In temple Times, the new month was considered a minor holiday and the ceremony, a reenactment of the Temple service, gloriously illustrated that. On the day of the new month, special sacrifices were brought to the Temple: two oxen, a ram, seven lambs, wine libations, flour, and oil (Numbers 28:11-15). This is identical to the sacrifices offered on Passover and Shavuot, indicating the holy aspect of the new month. Special trumpet blasts were also added in celebration. To commemorate the special nature of the day, the Temple Institute, in conjunction with the Sanhedrin and other Temple organizations, held a reenactment of the service as it would have been performed in the Temple. The ceremony was intended to be educational for the spectators and a dry-run for the priests who participated.

Will there be animal sacrifices in the Third Temple?
"Be pleased, Hashem our G-d, with thy people Israel and with their prayer; restore the worship to thy most Holy Sanctuary; accept Israel's offerings and prayer with gracious love. May the worship of thy people Israel be ever pleasing to thee". Because of this it is very important to highlight the fact that animal offerings will indeed be re-instituted when the Third Temple is rebuilt. May the Retzei Prayer be granted in its entirety speedily in our day. Shabbat Shalom
