Obama considering peace push, including UN Security Council resolution

Prophecy Sign:  The future 7 year covenant of peace

So while Iran plays with ballistic missiles  and Obama ignores, the chatter about reviving the Israel/Palestinian peace plan  is back on, with President, Barack Obama the major push behind the effort.  Now here's a thought: What if the current President gets the ball rolling on this UN Security Council initiative and then after leaving office early 2017, goes off to become the head of the United Nations, (which rumors suggest Obama will). Would he then, pick up where he left off and push through his plan for a two state solution?

You boast, "We have entered into a covenant with death, with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place." Isaiah 28:15 NIV

Obama considering peace push, including UN Security Council resolution
The White House is working on a plan to revive the Israeli-Palestinian peace process which has been frozen for almost two years, the Wall Street Journal reported prior to US Vice President Joe Biden's anticipated arrival at Ben-Gurion Airport on Tuesday afternoon for a two-day visit. In the absence of any US led initiative, France has since made a push for a multi-lateral regional summit and has spoken of a resolution before the United Nations Security Council to set the contours of a new peace process. According to the Wall Street Journal, the White House is considering changing its long standing opposition to using the UNSC as a vehicle to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, preferring instead for the two parties to resolve their issues through direct talks.

Obama’s lobbing yet Another ‘Peace Plan’ at Israel

Obama Administration: A UN Resolution That Would Divide Israel And Jerusalem Is Back In Play
According to the Wall Street Journal, the White House is considering drastic measures to reboot the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. Among those measures is a UN Security Council resolution that would set the parameters for a two state solution and that would recognize East Jerusalem as the official capital of a Palestinian state. If Barack Obama makes this move, it will almost certainly be before the election in November. I had previously reported that France was ready to introduce a similar UN Security Council resolution back in September, but at that time the French backed off because they did not have full support from the Obama administration. But now that Obama is approaching the end of his term, he suddenly seems more willing to make a bold move.

Most Israelis believe a divided capital is already a foregone conclusion
Last month, Zionist Union and opposition leader Isaac Herzog proposed dividing the capital. As the debate over whether to divide the capital intensifies amid terrorist attacks that have politicians and security personnel scrambling for solutions, most Israelis believe that the model of a unified Jerusalem has failed, a poll found this week.
