Prophecy Sign: Wars and rumors of Wars
From Eastern Europe to the Middle-East, the drums of war are beating louder and louder. Toss in the diminutive pea-brain that runs North Korea and his new missiles and you have some scary situations beginning to bubble over. Terms such as 'regional wars' and 'world war 3' are being bandied about in recent reports on the current military build-up.
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Matthew 24:6 NIV
Risk of GLOBAL WAR as Saudi Arabia, Turkey – and Ukraine – wade into Syria
A terrifying array of rival superpowers are wading into the chaotic conflict on opposing sides. Analysts now fear the bloodbath – already longer than World War One – is mutating into a full-scale regional war. Saudi Arabia has threatened to send in ground troops and intelligence reports suggest Turkey is preparing to invade. Ukraine is also weighing up sending in soldiers. If their forces clashed with Russians or Iranians already on the ground, NATO – including Britain – could be dragged into an apocalyptic World War 3. Most military experts see the conflict as a proxy war between Sunni Muslim Saudi Arabia – supported by the US – on one side and Shia Muslim Iran – backed by Russia – on the other.
Now Russia blasts North Korea as USA urges China to PUNISH Pyongyang over missile test
World leaders have united in anger at North Korea with a promise to hit the rogue state with harsh sanctions after it successfully fired what it claimed to be a satellite into space. Concerns were raised that the launch could have been a ballistic missile rather than a satellite. The Kremlin strongly condemned on Monday North Korea's latest rocket launch, calling it a violation of the international law. North Korea defied international warnings by launching the rocket that the UN fears could be a test for a missile that could strike the US.
War games in Middle East could prepare UK for ‘potential’ Russian war with NATO – report
The British Army is to deploy 1,600 troops in Jordan to take part in war games which could be preparation for a potential ‘confrontation’ between Russia and NATO member countries in Eastern Europe, the Daily Telegraph has reported, citing sources.
Britain to send five Royal Navy warships to join NATO’s maritime arm in response to Russian threat
Britain is sending five warships and 530 naval personnel to join Nato’s maritime arm as the alliance boosts its military force to counter what it sees as a growing threat from Russia. British troops will also be stationed on the ground in the Baltic States, near to the Russian border, it has emerged. Nato defence ministers are set to also approve measures including the stockpiling of weapons in bases in eastern Europe. The US has quadrupled its budget for forces in Europe to $3.4bn (£2.3bn) and has announced that half of this will be spent on a “heavy brigade” armour and artillery in Western Europe.
