Prophecy Sign: Perilous Times - Love will grow cold
Yet another mass shooting in the United States, with this one likely to be some form of a terrorist attack, (as the shooters - a husband and wife - have been found to be radicalized Islamists). Surely our world is turning into one where the love for one another is waxing increasing cold as society regresses into it's collective shells as more and more perilous and frightening events occur globally on a nearly daily basis.
At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold…Matthew 24:10-12 NIV
There have been 334 days and 351 mass shootings so far this year
There have been at least 351 mass shootings so far this year, according to news reports collected by a reddit community that tracks these incidents. The reddit tracker defines mass shootings as incidents in which four or more people, including the gunman, are killed or injured by gunfire. The Mass Shooting Tracker is different from other shooting databases in that it uses a broader definition of mass shooting — the old FBI definition focused on four or more people killed as part of a single shooting. There were at least 12 mass shootings in the U.S. last week so far, counting the Colorado Springs shooting. That shooting would also be the second mass shooting in
Springs this month.
As many as 3 gunmen wearing military gear kill at least 14 in
As many as three gunmen believed to be wearing military-style gear opened fire Wednesday at a
social services center, killing at least 14 people and wounding more than a
dozen others in what authorities described as a targeted mission. Hours later,
officers blocked a dark SUV that appeared to be riddled with bullet holes on a
residential street in San Bernardino.
Shots were fired, and a suspect was down, police said. Police say one suspect
in the deadly shooting was shot in a gunbattle with officers. San
Bernardino police Sgt. Vicki Cervantes said Wednesday
that there is still possibly a suspect “outstanding.”
