Russian military build-up in Syria ‘unprecedented,’ officials say

Prophecy Sign:  The Gog/Magog alliance - Russia

So while Iran, (Persia), emerges on the world stage ready to fulfill her role in a coming World War 3 scenario, (that being the prophetic Gog/Magog Ezekiel war), Russia, (Magog/Rosh), is also quickly re-establishing herself as the world power from the northern most parts that will unite the alliance of nations that will attack Israel during this Middle-East confrontation.  Even now, Russia is building up her forces in Syria which has Israel and the West watching with wary eyes.  Reports also indicate that Iran is sending ground forces into Syria to join with the Russian.  A very interesting move to say the least.

You will come from your place in the far north, you and many nations with you, all of them riding on horses, a great horde, a mighty army.  You will advance against my people Israel like a cloud that covers the land. In days to come, Gog, I will bring you against my land, so that the nations may know me when I am proved holy through you before their eyes. Ezekiel 38:15-16 NIV

Russian military build-up in Syria ‘unprecedented,’ officials say
U.S. officials are expressing growing concern about Russia's military build-up in Assad-controlled Syria, calling it "unprecedented" -- with one telling Fox News it compares in scope to Vladimir Putin's incursion into Crimea. "It's beginning to look like Crimyria," the official told Fox News. Two U.S. officials who have reviewed the latest intelligence told Fox News that satellite imagery reveals more flights of massive Russian An-124 "condor" military cargo planes landing in Syria. They are offloading troops, including just under 50 Russian marines, and armored vehicles. U.S. officials said the Russian activity in Syria is unlike any they've seen since the start of the Syrian civil war four years ago. "This is definitely a build-up straight out of Russia's military doctrine," said one official.

Russia shipping tanks into Syria, in ‘first clear sign of offensive weapons’
Russia's military build-up in Syria has grown to include the shipment of a half-dozen highly sophisticated battle tanks -- and more troops -- a defense official told Fox News, in what the source called the "first clear sign of offensive weapons arriving in Syria."  The Pentagon has now tracked a total of 15 Russian Antonov-124 Condor flights into Syria, reflecting a steady stream of military cargo into Syria. According to the latest intelligence, this also includes the arrival of two more Russian cargo ships, containing the tanks.

Russian submarine with 20 ICBMs and 200 nuclear warheads is sailing to Syria
The world’s largest submarine, the Dmitri Donskoy (TK-208), Nato-coded Typhoon, has set sail for the Mediterranean and is destined for the Syrian coast, DEBKAfile reports exclusively from its military and intelligence sources. Aboard the sub are 20 Bulava (NATO-code SS-N-30) intercontinental ballistic missiles with an estimated up to 200 nuclear warheads. Each missile, with a reported range of 10,000km, carries 6-10 MIRV nuclear warheads. The Russian sub set sail from its northern base on Sept. 4, escorted by two anti-sub warfare ships. Their arrival at destination in 10 days time will top up the new Russian military deployment in Syria.

Israel wary of Russian military build-up in Syria
Indications of increased Russian involvement in Syria in support of President Bashar Assad are prompting a reassessment in Israel about how to handle fall-out from the conflict without risking a clash with Moscow. Since the Syrian civil war began in 2011, Israel has occasionally fired across the Golan Heights in response to spillover shelling or bombed advanced arms it suspected were to be transferred to Assad's Lebanese guerrilla allies, Hezbollah. US and regional reports that Moscow's diplomatic and logistical support for Assad is shifting into major military backing has raised the prospect of Israel and Russia accidentally coming to blows. "There could be ramifications for us, certainly," Ram Ben-Barak, director-general of Israel's Intelligence Ministry, told Reuters when asked if Russian intervention in Syria might necessitate new Israeli rules of engagement.

Iranian troops join Russians in Syria fighting
Qasem Soleimani, commander of Iran's elite Quds Force, has sent hundreds of ground soldiers into Syria in the past few days apparently in cooperation with Russia's President Vladimir Putin, said a senior Israeli security official Thursday. Russia has also recently deployed military assets into Syria and according to the Israeli source, has teamed up with Iran in an unprecedented attempt to protect the embattled regime of Bashar Assad from falling to rebel groups including the Islamic State.
