'Every 5 Minutes a Christian Is Martyred for Their Faith,' Persecution Watchdog Group Warns

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing Christian persecution

Christians and biblical Christianity are hated more and more everyday.  The haters in the Western world look at true Christians as impediments to establishing a Utopian socialistic/progressive society. The haters in the Third world consider Christians and Christianity as infidels that need to be eliminated in the name of their other religions.

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Matthew 24:9 NIV

'Every 5 Minutes a Christian Is Martyred for Their Faith,' Persecution Watchdog Group Warns
A persecution watchdog group is warning believers that statistics suggest a Christian is martyred for their faith every five minutes somewhere around the world. As part of this year's International Day of Prayer, which falls on Nov. 8, Christian Freedom International is encouraging all Christian churches to join them in praying for the safety of those who are being persecuted for their faith in Jesus Christ. "I encourage you to pray for Persecuted Believers," CFI president Jim Jacobson said in a statement shared with The Christian Post on Tuesday. "They are your Christian family throughout the world. Pray for their safety; that they would be emboldened to continue sharing the Gospel even in the face of persecution; that their persecutors would also come to know Christ as they observe the courageous witness of these believers."

Hindu Radicals Beat Christians With Axes and Clubs; Force Believers to Choose Between Life or Jesus Christ
Hindu radicals reportedly attacked a group of Christians with guns, axes, spades and clubs during a prayer meeting at a village in Jharkhand state, India. Despite the beating, which sent six people to the hospital, Christians refused to stop worshiping Christ and turn to Hindu idols, as they were told. Morning Star News reported Tuesday that 15 or so Hindu extremists threatened to "finish off" the group of 30 Christians, including a pastor, if they continued praying to Christ.
