Would you get yourself chipped?

Prophecy Sign:  The 'Mark of the Beast" identification system of the Antichrist

While the RFID chip may not be, (and likely won't be), the answer to the age old question as to what the 'Mark of the Beast" was to be, it does give some clues to the technology involved and the ability to control the buy and sell concept of the future 'Mark'.

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,  so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. Revelation 13:16-17 NIV

Would you get yourself chipped?
Dogs have them. Cats have them. And plenty of other pets have NFC (near-field communications) chips implanted so that they can be identified. So why don't humans? Imagine the convenience. No need to carry keys or credit cards; your car can recognize you by the special identification number carried in the chip. Terminals for chipped credit cards like they have in Canada and Europe let you tap directly from bank account to store. No more entering passwords for your computer or phone. It's an electronic business card. If you get mugged and your wallet and phone are stolen, you can still be identified, just like your puppy. Then there's our aging population. After all, a chipped wandering grandma would be a lot easier to find and identify. In Stockholm, they are trying out chips at a co-working space, installing card readers at the door and on the copier so you can walk around like you own the place.

  1. MANY years ago, I always wondered why people would get a mark (such as a tattoo) and what good that would do.

Then, not so many years ago, before I knew much about RFID chips, I decided to do some research. I was especially curious when I found out pets had these chips, how they were powered. It would seem that Russian WWII era technology was used in RFID chips. They could get the little bit of power they need from changes in temperature. Hence, I must say it got my attention when I read that, in humans, this is best achieved where there is skin next to bone without much, if any, muscle or fat. The articles I read then went on to say that in humans, the back of the hand and the forehead best fit this criteria.

Not long after that, there was a commercial where a man walks into a grocery store wearing a long coat. he walks through the store sticking items under his coat. He then walks out the front door without going to a checkout lane. At that point, a security guard calls him by name. Caught shoplifting? NOPE. The guard hands him a piece of paper and says "you forgot your receipt". The realization is there that everything he purchased as well as his identity and his method of payment was all handled remotely. It would seem he COULDN'T buy or sell without that chip (mark?).

Finally, there is the fact that ALL UPCs (NOT bar codes) for ALL items that are sold have 666. The two thin lines that are read by scanners as a "6" are at the beginning, the middle and the end of ALL UPC codes. I once challenged a family member that I would buy them ANYTHING they wanted, so long as it didn't have "the mark of the beast (666)" on it. It was a big store. They could find NOTHING.

I don't know what that mark will actually be. If nothing else, it would see they have the concept in progress.
