WAR could have broken out 66 times in last 18 months, experts say

Prophecy Sign:  Wars & Rumors of War

War between NATO and Russia could have broken out on 66 occasions over the 18 months according to the article below.  That's an average of nearly 4 times a month, or nearly once per week. Is that not a little disconcerting and by definition, "rumors of war"?  As for real wars, Sunni forces continue battling Shiia forces in Yemen, as the battle over which form of Islam will carry sway over the Middle-East, (Sunni Saudi Arabia or Shiia Iran).

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Matthew 24:6 NIV

WAR could have broken out 66 times in last 18 months, experts say
Russia and NATO have been told they must agree to new rules on their military exercises to avoid triggering a war after 66 recorded 'close encounters' since March last year. Relations between Russia and the West relations have been in the deep freeze after the annexation of Crimea from Ukraine in March last year. Since then, both sides have been intensifying their large-scale military exercises 'most likely with war plans in mind', according to recent research. Now NATO and Russia have been told they must agree to a set of common rules on unexpected military encounters to cut the risk of war between Moscow and the West. The warning comes after a group of former defence and foreign ministers revealed that 'close military encounters' between the two sides, such as mid-air face-offs between rival military jets, have soared - with 66 recorded since the Ukraine crisis.

Total War in Yemen Totally Ignored by Western Media
With almost a whimper, the Western media reported that the US-backed regimes of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and their auxiliary fighters drawn from Al Qaeda have begun carrying out what is the ground invasion of Yemen. Along with an ongoing naval blockade and months of bombing raids, the ground invasion adds a lethal new dimension to the conflict – for both sides. Landing at the port city of Aden on Yemen’s southern tip, it is reported that an “armor brigade” consisting of between 1,000 – 3,000 troops primarily from the UAE are now moving north, their ultimate destination Sana’a, the capital of Yemen. Columns of the UAE’s French-built Leclerc main battle tanks were seen moving out of the port city though their numbers are difficult to establish. Reports claiming that the UAE unit is brigade-sized might indicate as many as 100 tanks involved – a third of the UAE’s total armored force.
