This is the game-changing technology that was used to genetically modify a human embryo

Prophecy Sign:  As it was in the days of Noah - Technology of the 'Mark of the Beast'

According to the Bible text, there was a whole lot of messing around with God's creation prior to the Great Flood.  To the point that Noah and his family may have been the only ones left on planet Earth with uncorrupted DNA, (perfect in their generations - Genesis 6:9 ).  And according  to Jesus Christ himself, this may occur again in the time of the Tribulation, (as it was in the days of Noah - Matthew 24:37).

There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown. Genesis 6:4 KJV

A cryptic prophecy in the book of Daniel seems to imply that something non-human will attempt to mix with the seed of men during this coming time of Tribulation.  Might this become part of what the future 'mark of the Beast' is all about?

And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay. Daniel 2:43 KJV

There is a theory among several well known prophecy scholars, (Tom Horn, Chris Putman), that the human genome and DNA will be altered by this coming 'mark', thus changing the recipient to something other that a creation of God, (transhuman, human hybrid), and hence unnredeemable.  For this reason, mankind is very much warned not to take the 'mark' for if they do, they are immediately condemned, with no chance of redemption.

A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: "If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God's fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. Revelation 14:9-10 NIV

Recent technological advances in the field of genetic modification and engineering is making this theory much more plausible.  Should a near future time occur when benevolent Alien brethren manifest themselves, (the return of the demonic Nephilim,), with an offer to upgrade humanity to the next level of existence, (humanity 2.0 - the Antichrist may be the first to accept this), many people at that time will jump on board with such an offer and will take this 'mark of the Beast'. Unfortunately these people will consigned themselves to an eternal Godless existence.

This is the game-changing technology that was used to genetically modify a human embryo
Back in April, researchers from Sun Yat-sen University in China published a paper showing how they edited the genome of a human embryo, to try to block a gene that causes a rare blood disease. The ability to edit human genes and, consequently, actually engineer a human being from birth, is something we’ve always thought of as Gattaca-style science fiction. But this development, published in the journal Cell & Protein, shows that while many challenges remain before this becomes routine (the researchers encountered serious problems while working with non-viable embryos), genetically modified humans may be far closer than many like to think. They used a fascinating technology called CRISPR to do it.

Could gene editing cure the incurable?
A new technological breakthrough, called CRISPR, could be used to fix broken genes. Dr Tony Perry, a geneticist at the University of Bath, announced in January that society should be prepared for the onset of genetically-engineered humans.  He told the BBC that “designer babies” were no longer “HG Wells’ territory”. Named one of the Top Science Breakthroughs of 2013, CRISPR (Clustered Regularly Interspaced Short Palindromic Repeats) technology uses “molecular scissors”, or restriction enzymes, to cut specific genes from DNA. These technological advances have already been used to cure mice of liver diseases and produce hornless cattle. So, how could these scientific triumphs be applied to the wellbeing of future generations?

  1. Going to college for genetics lol. Promise I won't take part in anything like that.
