Indonesian Islamic State fighter calls for 'lone wolf' attacks on Christians

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing hatred and persecution of Christians

Persecution of Christians and Christianity will only worsen as we approach the Tribulation period. For those Christians holding to true biblical doctrine, the attacks, (marginalization), will increase here in the West.  As for anybody that calls themselves a Christian in the Middle and Far East regions of the world, the persecution will become bloody, (and is in fact already there).

If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. John 15:19 NIV

Indonesian Islamic State fighter calls for 'lone wolf' attacks on Christians
Indonesian fighters who have joined Islamic State in Syria are using social media to encourage fellow jihadists back home to murder Christians by any means necessary. There are some 23 million Christians in Indonesia, as well as large numbers of tourists – including many Australians – visiting places  such as Bali who are also followers of the faith and could be targets of such "lone wolf" attacks. In September last year, IS spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani urged supporters to kill "non-believers" in response to US-led air strikes against its forces.

China Crackdown: 'Why Won't They Let Us Believe?'
The big crackdown against Christians and their churches in China may be getting worse. Government workers are forcibly removing more and more crosses from church buildings. This time, however, it's not underground churches experiencing this latest wave of persecution. The latest crackdown is against government-sanctioned churches and their crosses. Recently, another cross was forcibly removed in China's Zhejiang province – this one by government workers at lower Dafei Catholic Church in Wenzhou. Parishioners sang Christian hymns as their church cross came down.

Christianity facing threat of being rendered illegal under Nepal's new constitution
Christians may soon be prohibited from participating in church services and other religious activities in Nepal after the predominantly Hindu nation adopted a new Constitution on Monday. In an effort to stabilise a country that was wracked by civil war in 2006, killing some 17,000 people, the Nepalese government crafted the country's first post-monarchy constitution, which contains provisions that could eventually render all Christian activity in the country illegal. In its report published on Aug. 7, World Watch Monitor said Nepal's amended charter actually contains provisions to address secularism, which can pave the way for an "anti-conversion clause" to be written in the penal code.
