Christian leaders say faith under attack in Canada by governments, regulators

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing Christian persecution and marginalization

So while Christian in the Middle-East flee their homes for fear of their lives being taken from them by some radical Islamic horde, Christian in the West are undergoing a form of persecution as well. It's called 'marginalization' and is the process where Christian liberties are whittled away and Christians are expected to shut up, sit in the corner and quietly do their worshiping and never mind trying to influence the decaying morals of our increasingly depraved society with the truths of the bible.

"You will be hated by all because of my name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved. Mark 13:13 NASB

Christian leaders say faith under attack in Canada by governments, regulators
A group of Canadian Christian leaders is raising the alarm about what they say are attacks on their faith, citing barriers to a Christian university setting up a law school and doctors opposed to ending pregnancies being forced to refer patients elsewhere. The group, including Charles McVety, president of the Institute for Canadian Values, pointed to a number of recent events they said equate to an attack on the Christian faith and impinge on Christians' ability to practice their faith.

U.K. Judge convicts Christian for voicing Bible verse
A Christian street preacher convicted and fined by a U.K. judge, who also serves with an Islamic Shariah court, is guilty of having breached the public order by his choice of Bible verses. Michael Overd, a former British paratrooper who has been street preaching for five years, was convicted this week of delivering “homophobic sermons” over a loudspeaker in Taunton, Somerset, last summer. Overd faced two charges relating to claims by homosexuals he had offended them and another of causing “racially aggravated” harassment targeted at Muslims, the BBC reported. He was found guilty of only one of the “homophobic” charges.

Navy to chaplain: You can't comfort dead sailor's family
Wes Modder has been a long-term Navy chaplain, a former Marine, and has received high praise for his performance. But he ran into problems with superiors when he expressed faith-based views on marriage and human sexuality in private counseling sessions. Modder, who is endorsed by the Assemblies of God, asked for a religious accommodation – but his commander denied that request and reassigned him. Now Liberty Institute attorney Mike Berry tells OneNewsNow when Modder received word of the death of someone in his previous unit, he got into action doing what chaplains do. But his commander stepped in with the equivalent of a restraining order.
