UK: Muslims present petition with 100,000 signatures calling for restrictions on the freedom of speech

Prophecy Sign: Global governance (and loss of freedoms)

What's the best way to shut down internet freedom?  Declare everything that is either blasphemous or politically incorrect to be off limits and thus requiring internet controls.  Question:  Who gets to decide the parameters of this?  Why of course all those global governance loving bureaucrats that are beyond public scrutiny.  The future Antichrist can't have us bloggers and the like haranguing his shiny New World Order now can he?

UK: Muslims present petition with 100,000 signatures calling for restrictions on the freedom of speech
We’re always told, on pain of charges of “Islamophobia,” that Islam is not a monolith, but is gloriously diverse. So where is the diversity? 100,000 signed a petition against the freedom of speech. Where are the 100,000 Muslims standing up for the freedom of speech? Where is the Muslim demonstration against blasphemy restrictions? In the wake of the Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre, we have seen Muslims demonstrate against the cartoons of Muhammad in Chechnya, Pakistan, Iran, Niger, and elsewhere, and now in Britain. Where are they demonstrating on the other side?

Obama’s Internet plan ‘worse than I had imagined’ says FCC commissioner
During a press conference Tuesday, a Republican on the Federal Communications Commission’s five-member panel warned that the government’s plan to regulate the Internet is more intrusive than it appears. Ajit Pai, one of two Republican FCC commissioners, said that the agency has selectively released details of its net neutrality plans in a bid to downplay “this massive intrusion to the Internet economy.” “It is worse than I imagined,” Pai told reporters. “The American people are being misled about President Obama’s plan to regulate the Internet.”
