Prophecy Sign: The rise of the Antichrist
If we are as close to the end as we think we are, (a few months, perhaps a few years), then right now somewhere in the world, (Europe?), there should be on the rise in the political and economic arena's a charismatic leader ready to step out of the shadows and into the limelight. This person will ultimately become the future 'Man of Sin", or as he is known by all bible scholars, the Antichrist.
Speculation is already afoot that the new leader of Greece may fit the bill. Could be, but we don't know. We will leave you to read the following articles and make that guess for yourselves. In the meantime we continue to look for the real Christ, (Jesus Christ), rather than the anti-Christ, (False Christ). The idea that the False Christ may already be in the world tells us that the real McCoy, (Jesus), is shortly on his way back to Earth to catch away his Bride, the Church. Keep looking up.
In the latter part of their reign, when rebels have become completely wicked, a fierce-looking king, a master of intrigue, will arise. He will become very strong, but not by his own power. He will cause astounding devastation and will succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy those who are mighty, the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper, and he will consider himself superior. When they feel secure, he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of princes. Yet he will be destroyed, but not by human power. Daniel 8:23-25 NIV
Pope Francis the 'pontiff of the poor', says Greece's Alexis Tsipras, (Sept 2014)
Greece's opposition leader Alexis Tsipras – a radical leftist and self-described atheist – has hailed Pope Francis as the "pontiff of the poor" after meeting him for talks at the Vatican. The Greek firebrand, among the loudest critics of the politics of austerity, emerged from discussions with the pope saying the two men had seen eye-to-eye on such issues as banks, profits and the need for Europe's left to deepen dialogue with the church. "We come from different ideological starting points," said Tsipras, Europe's first leftwing leader to be invited to the Vatican. "But we meet on [the matter] of pan-human values." The dialogue had ranged from Europe's economic crisis, the wars in the Middle East and Ukraine, the gulf between rich and poor and the tragedy of uncontrolled migration, he said.
A Charasmatic new world leader appears from nowhere and takes control of Greece
His name is Alexis Tsipras, and it seems that he meets much of the criteria of the prophesied Antichrist. He was just elected as the Prime Minister of Greece. He is an atheist and a far left winger. His party in Greece is called SYRIZA. He has appeared out of nowhere in the last couple of years, almost magically. He has landed himself in a most precarious situation. Greece is broken. Is he the one to fix it, and also the EU which is struggling and groping at almost anything to revive Europe? All eyes are on this man.
