Russia And Iran Just Got Even Closer

Prophecy Sign:  The members of the Gog/Magog alliance

The four autocrats of the Apocalypse, (article below), include Vladimir Putin of Russia and Recep Erdogan of Turkey.  These two nations are slated to join with another nation of the Apocalypse, (Iran), in a last days attempt to crush Israel.

I will turn you around, put hooks in your jaws and bring you out with your whole army—your horses, your horsemen fully armed, and a great horde with large and small shields, all of them brandishing their swords. Persia, Cush and Put will be with them, all with shields and helmets,  also Gomer with all its troops, and Beth Togarmah from the far north with all its troops—the many nations with you. Ezekiel 38:4-6 NIV

Russia And Iran Just Got Even Closer
Russia and Iran are aligning more and more. In Tehran on Tuesday, Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu and his Iranian counterpart, defense minister Hossein Dehghan, signed an agreement on "military cooperation" between the two countries, according to the state-controlled news agency TASS. "The signing of the intergovernmental agreement on military cooperation today became a significant step in the strengthening of these relations," Shoigu said afterward. "The theoretical basis of cooperation in the military sphere has been established."

Russia and Iran sign deal to widen military cooperation.
Russia and Iran have signed an agreement to expand their military ties and resolve a long-standing dispute over the sale of a controversial air defense system to the Islamic Republic. In remarks carried by Russian news agencies, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu said in Tehran Tuesday that the new agreement includes expanded counter-terrorism cooperation, exchanges of military personnel for training purposes and an understanding for each country’s navy to more frequently use the other’s ports. The deal provides for joint exercises and military training, as well as “cooperation in peacekeeping, maintaining regional and international security and stability, and fighting against separatism and extremism,” the Iranian Defense Ministry website said.

None of these leaders are declared enemies of the West: they will, in some contexts, share in its projects. Turkey remains a member of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, though an increasingly detached one, reluctant to impose sanctions on Russia as its Western allies have asked it to do. A December meeting between Erdogan and Putin in Ankara saw the two presidents, much compared, setting aside differences and pledging greater cooperation and trade.
