Palestinians to submit draft resolution to UN later this week

Prophecy Sign:  The future false covenant of peace

Israel is under intense world pressure to acquiesce and accept another Arab state on its borders, (that being Palestine).  With coming Israeli elections in March of 2015, there is the distinct possibility of a regime change in the Jewish State with a more liberal and dovish leader taking the reigns of power. If this happens, their would be a far greater likelihood of Israel giving in to world demands, (assuming their isn't another Middle-East war first).

It has come to light that Israel is indeed held to different standards than her Arab neighbors, and for this reason is constantly berated by the world while the Islamic/Arab world is not.  Watch the video below as noted Israeli journalist, Caroline Glick, forcefully expresses her, (and presumably other Israelis), viewpoint about this policy of the EU and United Nations.

A future peace deal is on the horizon.  We suspect it won't come until after another Middle-East war is fought in the region first, (Psalm 83 and perhaps Ezekiel 38/39).

He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him. Daniel 9:27 NIV

Palestinians to submit draft resolution to UN later this week
The Palestinian leadership decided on Sunday to submit their draft resolution setting a deadline to Israeli withdrawal from the West Bank to the UN Security Council on Wednesday. They also decided to continue security cooperation in Israel despite calls to do so following the death of Palestinian minister Ziad Abu Ein. The draft resolution will be submitted by Jordan, who is a temporary member of the Security Council. The Palestinian draft resolution calls on Israel to withdraw from the West Bank and East Jerusalem by November 2016. The resolution also calls for a Security Council recognition of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders.

'Unilateral UN moves will lead to instability'
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanayhu met in Rome on Monday with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry in a bid to thwart a potential move at the U.N. to recognize a Palestinian state within two years, if peace talks fail to produce an agreement. Netanyahu also recently spoke with French President Francois Hollande about this issue, and expressed his dissatisfaction with France's support for the U.N. initiative. In the meeting with Kerry on Monday, Netanyahu requested that the U.S. use its Security Council veto against a Palestinian resolution (which could be proposed on Wednesday) to set a two-year deadline for the establishment of a Palestinian state and an "end to the occupation."

EU parliament set to endorse Palestine recognition
The European Parliament is poised to vote Yes on a non-binding motion on Palestine recognition after three of its top groups agreed a draft text. The draft, seen by EUobserver, says the EU assembly “supports in principle recognition of Palestinian statehood and the two-state solution, and believes these should go hand in hand with the development of peace talks, which should be advanced”. Negotiators from the centre-right EPP, the centre-left S&D, and the Liberal Alde group finalised the joint text on Wednesday (16 December) ahead of the vote on Thursday. They hold 488 out of 751 seats between them. But some MEPs are likely to vote against the group line due to the nature of the dossier.

Netanyahu: Too many in Europe have learned nothing from the slaughter of 6 million Jews
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu criticized the "staggering examples of European hypocrisy," that were exhibited Wednesday in the EU decisions to remove Hamas from the terror blacklist and to symbolically recognize a Palestinian state. Speaking ahead of a meeting with visiting Republican Senator Joni Ernst, Netanyahu said, "In Geneva they call for the investigation of Israel for war crimes while in Luxemburg the EU court removed Hamas from the terror list. Hamas that has committed countless war crimes and countless terror attacks."
