Earthquake swarm may increase risk of the big one

Prophecy Sign:  Earthquakes in diverse places

Hmmm.....earthquakes swarms in Nevada, earthquake swarms in Oklahoma, earthquake swarms in the Carolina's, earthquakes all along the central part of America.  Is God sending a warning?  There is great potential for huge destruction earthquakes all over North America, and all the recent swarms may be indicative of such.

Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.  All these are the beginning of birth pains. Matthew 24:7-8 NIV

Earthquake swarm may increase risk of the big one
An earthquake swarm about 40 miles southeast of Lakeview, Oregon is increasing in activity and intensity. While the seismic activity is happening in a secluded area centered off Nevada's northwest border, scientists are watching it closely. "It has been going for about five months now and it kind of goes in fits and spurts," said Dr. Graham Kent. Dr. Kent is the Director of the Nevada Seismological Laboratory. He said that since the activity first started, more than 550 seismic events have been recorded, and all have measured a magnitude of 2.0 or greater. Since October, the intensity has grown even greater.

Nevada Seeing Swarms of Earthquakes
Since summer, Nevada has seen hundreds of earthquakes, some coming in bunched groups called swarms, which appear to have intensified recently. Since July, hundreds of small quakes have hit an area in the Northwest portion of the state near the Sheldon National Wildlife refuge, and they have become even stronger since October 30. Since the end of October there have been three with a magnitude of 4.0 or above. There was a similar swarm in September in Southern California, where 500 events were registered within two days. The United States Geological Survey (USGS) says that these swarms are not uncommon, and that while there is a slightly increased risk of more serious seismic events occurring during a swarm, it is not necessarily an indication that a major quake is imminent.
