Muslim Terrorists Kill More than One Thousand Christians in One Bloody Day

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing Christian persecution and marginaliztion

Two kinds of Christian persecution exist in the world today;  The first type makes the news as thousands of Christians are driven from their homes at the point of a sword and rifle, with many ultimately paying for their faith with their very own lives.  The second type simply attempts to drive Christianity out of the public form, (you can continue to worship your God, but do so behind the walls of your building and don't bother coming out to spread your message in public).

Whatever means Satan uses, his goal is to eradicate the gospel message and to eliminate the influence of Christians within their respective societies.  These means of persecution will only get worse as we near the very end of the end.

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Matthew 24:9 NIV

Muslim Terrorists Kill More than One Thousand Christians in One Bloody Day
The Islamic terrorist organization Boko Haram has declared a new Islamic caliphate in northeaster Nigeria, modeled after the caliphate being created by ISIS in Syria and Iraq. Because of the sheer monstrosity of Boko Haram, tens of thousands of people – Christians in particular – are fleeing the region. Catholic Bishop  Oliver Dashe Doeme of Maiduguri says, “in areas whereBoko Haram is active Christians are fleeing by the thousands. ” He reported that at least 90,000 Catholics are now displaced by the Islamist rebels who are challenging the sovereignty of the Nigerian government.
According to Boko Haram's own video, Abubakar Shekau claims he killed 1,000 Christians on that day. This has not been reported in the media as far as we can tell but is contained in his YouTube statement. We are investigating this but since he controls the town it is impossible to tell. If true this is the worst single day massacre of Christians anywhere in contemporary history.”

Iraq crisis: 'Every single Christian wants to leave'
Christians in the Nineveh region of northern Iraq are unable to celebrate communion for the first time in two millennia, after Islamic State militants captured the area and took over the churches. Canon Andrew White, vicar of the only Anglican church in Iraq, told the Telegraph that Isil have set up offices in the churches and have replaced crosses with the militant group's black flag. "Last week there was no communion in Nineveh for the first time in 2,000 years," he said. "All [the churches] are closed, all their people have run away. It is so sad." Many Christians moved from the Iraqi capital to Mosul and Nineveh in the north of the country following bloody sectarian killings and other violence after the 2003 US-led invasion. Now an estimated 200,000 Christians have been forced to flee their homes once again after Isil swept through their villages this summer, demanding that they convert to Islam, pay taxes for being Christians or face death.

Baghdad Priest: ‘Christianity Could Be at an End Here’
The Rev. Andrew White, vicar of St. George’s Anglican Church in Baghdad, said Tuesday that he believes Christianity may be at an end in Iraq. “The future’s very bleak,” Father White said in an interview with CNSNews.com. “For the first time, I’ve had to consider the very real fact that Christianity could be at an end here.”
