B.C. woman says she was rejected for job because she’s Christian as company manager says her religion offends ‘Norse’ culture

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing hatred towards Christians

Christians are not being threatened with death in the western world as yet, (that will come during the Tribulation).  However bible believing Christians are becoming ever more hated and marginalized in the west.  Here in our home province of British Columbia a Christian university grad met up with her own virulent Christian hatred as a company she applied to for a job, went on a Christian hate fest rampage when they found out she was a graduate of Trinity Western University, (see article and videos below).  Meanwhile elsewhere in the western world, Christians are being attacked for holding to biblical principals in both the work place and in religious institutions of higher learning.

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 10:22 NIV

Trinity Western grad 'attacked' for being Christian in job rejection
A Trinity Western University graduate says she was “attacked” over her religion by a Norwegian wilderness tourism company, just for applying for a job. Bethany Paquette claims her application to work in Canada's North for Amaruk Wilderness Corp. was rejected because she's Christian. "It did really hurt me and I did feel really attacked on the basis that I'm a Christian," Paquette said. In her complaint to the B.C. Human Rights Tribunal, Paquette outlines a series of emails from executives from Amaruk Wilderness Corp. Paquette, an experienced river rafting guide, applied to be a wilderness guide for Amaruk’s Canadian operations in the North.

B.C. woman says she was rejected for job because she’s Christian as company manager says her religion offends ‘Norse’ culture
Less than 24 hours after she emailed her application package to Amaruk, Mr. Amundsen replied with his frosty rejection letter. “I do not understand the purpose of your application considering you do not meet the minimum requirements that are clearly outlined on our web site,” he wrote, according to documents filed with the BCHRT. “Additionally, considering you were involved with Trinity Western University, I should mention that, unlike Trinity Western University, we embrace diversity, and the right of people to sleep with or marry whoever they want, and this is reflected within some of our staff and management.” He followed that with his comments about Christianity having “destroyed” the Norse culture. Ms. Paquette says she was shocked to receive it. “It was definitely something you never expect to get when you’re applying for a job,” she said in an interview Wednesday. “It seemed completely wrong and over the top. It was an attack.”

Accreditation board gives Gordon College a year to review policy on homosexuality
The regional body that accredits colleges and universities has given Gordon College a year to report back about a campus policy on homosexuality, one that may be in violation of accreditation standards. The higher education commission of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges met last week and "considered whether Gordon College's traditional inclusion of 'homosexual practice' as a forbidden activity" runs afoul of the commission's standards for accreditation, according to a joint statement from NEASC and Gordon College.

Company Forced into 'Diversity Training' over Gay Pride Shirts
A Christian T-shirt printing company in Kentucky has been found guilty of discrimination for refusing to print gay pride shirts and are being forced to undergo diversity training.  The Gay and Lesbian Services Organization filed a complaint in 2012 against Hands On Originals T-shirt printing company, saying their refusal to print the T-shirts violated the city's fairness ordinance which prohibits public businesses from refusing service based on sexual orientation.
