Tortured in Ukraine: Christians Living a Nightmare

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing hatred and persecution of Christians

A good many peoples and cultures don't much care for evangelical Christians.  From state sponsored Orthodox worldly Christianity, to Islamists, from radical Hindus to Atheists - all would like nothing more than to see the last of biblical Christianity.  We have news....it won't happen, as even during the darkest days of the Tribulation millions will come to know Christ during that time, (with most of them being martyred for their faith).

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Matthew 24:9 NIV

Tortured in Ukraine: Christians Living a Nightmare
Ukraine's evangelical Christians are bearing the brunt of the country's conflict, often with deadly consequences. Many believe the persecution is linked to pressure from the Russian Orthodox Church, and the pro-Russian rebels are only happy to do their bidding. "When I was in prison, a rebel soldier told me they have an order to kill all the Christian pastors who are not part of the Russian Orthodox Church," Anatoly, a pastor from Luhansk, said. While that has forced some to go underground, others are deciding to stay. "Many heroes were born out of this conflict - men and women who are boldly sharing their faith and helping those caught in the war," Oleg said.

Dozens of Christians 'including women and children' are arrested in Saudi Arabia after tip-off to state's Islamist police force
Islamist police in Saudi Arabia have stormed a Christian prayer meeting and arrested its entire congregation, including women and children, and confiscated their bibles, it has been reported. The raid was the latest incident of a swingeing crackdown on religious minorities in Saudi Arabia by the country's hard-line Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice. The 28 Christians were said to be worshipping at the home of an Indian national in the eastern city of Khafji, when the police entered the building and took them into custody. They have not been seen or heard from since, raising concerns among human rights groups as to their whereabouts.

Some Atheists and Transhumanists are Asking: Should it be Illegal to Indoctrinate Kids With Religion?
Like some other atheists and transhumanists, I join in calling for regulation that restricts religious indoctrination of children until they reach, let's say, 16 years of age. Once a kid hits their mid-teens, let them have at it--if religion is something that interests them. 16-year-olds are enthusiastic, curious, and able to rationally start exploring their world, with or without the guidance of parents.
