Ebola Spreading 'Exponentially' as Patients Seek Beds in Liberia

Prophecy Sign:  Pestilence, plagues and disease

While the scenario modeled in the video below may not happen yet, it likely will during the darkest days of the Tribulation when many millions of people will perish due to plagues, (disease pandemics).  The current Ebola crisis is just a glimpse of what the world will look like during the worst 7 years of human history that is yet to come.

Ebola is not the only disease currently in the news, as a new respiratory disease is sending dozens of kids to hospital, and an old disease rears its ugly head - tuberculosis.  Sad to say, even the American government admits it may not be reading for a future pandemic.

I looked, and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him. They were given power over a fourth of the earth to kill by sword, famine and plague, and by the wild beasts of the earth. Revelation 6:8 NIV

Ebola Spreading 'Exponentially' as Patients Seek Beds in Liberia
The Ebola virus is spreading exponentially across Liberia as patients fill taxis in a fruitless search for medical care, the World Health Organization said Monday. In Sierra Leone, a doctor working for WHO tested positive and was preparing to be evacuated from the country. Meanwhile, the newest U.S. patient, a doctor infected in Liberia, was feeling a little better and could even eat a little, doctors treating him in Nebraska said. The various reports illustrated in the clearest possible way the disparities driving the epidemic in West Africa, where there’s almost no medical system structure.

World Health Organisation says Ebola will claim 20,000 lives in next six months
The World Health Organisation has issued a terrifying warning: Ebola will claim 20,000 lives within the next six months. The virus, which is spiralling out of control in Western Africa, has already claimed 2300 lives, the international health body reports. More than half of that figure have died in the past 21 days alone.

Homeland ill-prepared for pandemic, doesn’t even have enough drugs to protect Secret Service
The Department of Homeland Security is unprepared to protect its own workforce should a major infectious disease hit U.S. shores, a new watchdog report is warning, raising concerns the agency may not even be able to protect its own employees in the event of a deadly flu or other pandemic disease attack. The report found that DHS officials had done an inadequate job of tracking anti-pandemic drugs and equipment acquired for critical agencies such as the U.S. Secret Service and Customs and Border Protection. “DHS may not be able to provide sufficient pandemic preparedness supplies to its employees to continue operations during a pandemic,” said the agency’s watchdog, the Office of the Inspector General, in a report dated Aug. 26 and made public Monday.

Model shows how Ebola will spread: “It only takes one infected individual making it through an airport checkpoint”
Health officials around the world are scrambling to contain the Ebola virus with many, including the Centers for Disease Control and the World Health Organization, now preparing for its eventual escape out of West Africa. According to CDC director Tom Frieden, the ‘window of opportunity’ for stopping the spread of Ebola is closing rapidly. In July, as the virus surged across west African borders, Frieden downplayed its potential to reach U.S. shores. “It is not a potential of Ebola spreading widely in the U.S.,” claimed Frieden in a preemptive effort to prevent panic. “That is not in the cards.”
