Technology is growing at such a rate as to make the fulfillment of the prophecy of the 'mark of the beast' to be just around the corner.  No longer is it a question of just how people will be controlled in their ability to buy and sell, but how soon will this be implemented.  Already we have nations such a India and Israel mandating that all of their citizen be issue a bio-metric ID in order to be a citizens in good standing with the ability to participate in daily life.

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,  so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. Revelation 13:16-17 NIV

Within five years, 3.4 billion users are predicted to engage with biometrics on their mobile devices, alluding to a collective revenue of US$8.3 billion. Fingerprint sensors are forecasted to become a standard feature for high-end smart mobile devices by  2015, serving as a replacement with “cumbersome and inconvenient” methods currently available on mobile devices. With regards to mobile commerce, mobile devices are predicted as the primary mode for digital commerce. However, Goode reasons its progress is currently being hampered by identity verification and payment authorisation yet to be updated. Biometrics is suggested as a replacement for payment authorisation, as well as serving its goal in the authentication of products as supported by the Field Integrated Design Operations (FIDO) Alliance, among others.

Smart ID Show to take place in Tel Aviv next year
A new conference and exhibition has been announced focused on smart identification technologies. Named the Smart ID Show-TLV, the event is set to take place November 5-6, 2014 in Tel Aviv, Israel. “The Israeli government has started to issue Biometric Identity Cards to all citizens, which means a revolution in the local market. Public organisations, institutions, government and private service suppliers need to switch to systems which can read and process the Israelis, with the rest of the world, are already in the process of adopting Digital ID products and technologies,” the event’s organizers, eNetcom GmbH Germany and Sbl Exhibitions said in an announcement. “Digital ID needs to be standardised worldwide. The Biometric ID must be readable not only in the country of issue, but also wherever the individual may travel. The economic potential for companies developing and supplying Digital ID and RFID products and technologies is huge.”
