'Permanent peace deal will be achieved in spring 2014'

Prophecy Sign:  The coming seven year covenant/peace agreement

It is being reported that the British Consul-General to Jerusalem is suggesting that a permanent peace agreement between Israel and the Palestinians will be achieved by next spring, (2014). Jerusalem would be divided and become the capital of both Israel and a new Palestinian state.  It is also reported that a proposal has been formulated that would seek joint management of the Temple Mount by both Israel and the Palestinians.  With all this in mind, the Israeli government has decided to allow the restoration of an ancient mikve, (ceremonial ritual baths), near the Temple Mount.

Seems we are drawing ever closer to the fulfillment of a prophecy which warns that when the world begins to joyfully claim "peace and safety", that is when the worst days of planet earth will ensue, (the seven years of Tribulation).

While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 NIV

You boast, "We have entered into a covenant with death, with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood our hiding place." Isaiah 28:15 NIV

'Permanent peace deal will be achieved in spring 2014'
British Consul-General to Jerusalem Sir Vincent Fean hedged Saturday that "a permanent agreement between Israel and the Palestinian Authority will be reached by the spring of 2014," the Palestinian news agency Maan reported. According to the report, Fean said that the agreement will include joint Israeli-Palestinian sovereignty over Jerusalem. The British consul-general was quoted as saying that the spring of 2014 is going to be "crucial to the inception of a Palestinian state on the basis of a political solution," adding that "Jerusalem will serve as the shared capital of Israel and the future Palestinian state and the agreement will also include land swaps."

Proposal to Manage Temple Mount for Both Jews and Arabs
A detailed proposal formulated by the Jewish Leadership Movement on the management of the Temple Mount for both Jews and Arabs is being submitted to the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee. On Wednesday, the Knesset Internal Affairs and Environment Committee will be holding a special meeting to discuss a proposal for the managing of the Mount area for both Arabs and Jews for prayer.

Ancient Ritual Bath near Temple Mount to be Back in Use
MK Aliza Lavie (Yesh Atid), announced to the Knesset today (Thursday) that at last night’s meeting of the Committee on the Status of Women, during a discussion of the ritual baths in Israel, it was decided that an ancient mikve near the Temple Mount would be restored for use so that women could ascend the Temple Mount in ritual purity.
The question of Jewish ascension to the Temple Mount continues to be controversial. The Temple Mount is the holiest place on earth according to Jewish tradition, and was the site of the First and Second Temples. As such, some rabbis say Jews should be encouraged to visit and pray at the holy site. However, other rabbis say that Jews should not enter the Temple Mount until ancient practices have been brought back that would ensure they are in a state of ritual purity before stepping foot on the holy site.
