Israeli strike coming?

Prophecy Sign:  The future prophetic Middle-East Wars - Gog/Magog, Ezekiel 38/39

Tick, tock, tick tock!!  It's only a matter of time before the clock winds down on an Israel strike against the Iranian nuclear program.  Some morning the world will wake up to news reports of Israeli war planes dropping bombs over Iran.  The question then will be; Now What??

Followers of bible prophecy will know that the bible has warnings of future middle-east wars which will pit the mostly Islamic neighbours of Israel uniting in various alliances to once and for all, destroy the tiny Jewish nation.  Will an Israeli strike against Iran's nuclear facilities be the spark that ignites the whole region into war?

As always, pray for the peace of this region, and stayed tuned.  Keep looking up, for your redemption draws very near.

Israeli strike coming?
Talks in Geneva on Iran’s nuclear program are triggering fears within U.S. intelligence agencies that Israel is hardening its stance on Iran and could conduct a military attack to stave off what the Jewish state believes is a delaying tactic for Tehran to buy time to build nuclear weapons. The clearest indicator of growing Israeli concerns, according to defense officials, is the recent large-scale Israeli air force drill Tuesday in the northern part of the country. The exercises along the northern border and over the Mediterranean were considered unusually large. An Israeli defense source told Israel’s Walla! news outlet: “Changes have recently occurred in the Middle East. The [Israeli Defense Force] is preparing for those changes in both the closer and more distant perimeters, and yesterday’s exercise was intended to signal the IDF’s serious intention of dealing with those problems and thwarting them.”

Is Israel serious about striking Iran?
Netanyahu continues to remind Iranian President Hassan Rouhani that it would never allow for a nuclear-armed Iran. “If you take them at their word that might include the possibility of launching a retaliatory strike or striking in advance of a final development of the weapon,” said Keating.  “Iran - while their forces are old and not well trained … nonetheless they have reasonable capability” to fight off an attack said Keating. Keating sees an Israeli strike on Iran as a formidable task. “The likelihood of their succeeding isn’t 100% … if they [Israeli fighter pilots] do get to the target the likelihood of completely eliminating the Iranian nuclear program isn’t high.”  He added, “some of their [Iran’s] targets are deeply buried and very well protected.” “Israel views this as a significant problem … we can all be hopeful that there will be positive developments that come from the [Geneva] talks but we have to be prepared … if the talks fail,” said Keating.

Russia proposes lifting Iran sanctions in exchange for intl control of nuclear program
Moscow has proposed the lifting of international and unilateral sanctions against Iran if it agrees to have its nuclear program placed under international control, Russia’s deputy foreign minister said as the six-party talks rounded up in Geneva. “The beacon, the main arrangement that we follow is the proposal by [President] Vladimir Putin that the recognition of Iran’s right to [uranium] enrichment as part of its inseparable rights under the Non-proliferation Treaty should be accompanied by the introduction of full comprehensive international control over the Iranian nuclear program,” Sergey Ryabkov told journalists in Geneva on Wednesday. If such an agreement is reached all sanctions against Iran must be scrapped, the deputy foreign minister added. Moscow has influence on the talks between six world powers and Iran, known as P5+1, Ryabkov noted.
