Iran Getting Set to Con the West

Prophecy Sign:  The coming prophetic Middle-East Wars - Iran, (Jeremiah 49, Ezekiel 38)

Netanyahu's Red Line

The Israeli Prime Minister is quite correct when he compares the current Iran/World situation to what occurred with the pre-war Nazis and those that refused to see the danger of Hitler and his hordes.  In 1939 the then British Prime Minister attempted a policy of appeasement with Adolph Hitler in hopes that it would avoid war with Germany.  We all know how well that worked out.

Now President Barack Obama and other western powers are attempting the same thing with Iran.  Bible prophecy, (Ezekiel 38/39), warns that the success of these negotiations will be of equal success as Neville Chamberlain had with Nazi Germany.

Iran Getting Set to Con the West
On Wednesday the Wall Street Journal reported that Iran was preparing proposals for the mid-October talks. They are said to include ceasing uranium enrichment to the 20% level, allowing “more intrusive” international inspections of its nuclear sites, and possibly closing down its underground enrichment site near Qom—in return for the easing of Western sanctions. Israeli intelligence minister Yuval Steinitz called the proposals “a joke.” He pointed out that “closing the Qom facility means Iran will be able to produce five instead of six nuclear bombs in the first year, and giving up enrichment at 20% is less meaningful now that Iran has 20,000 centrifuges.” In other words, even if Iran really did give up 20% enrichment, it now has such numerous (and such advanced) centrifuges that it could quickly and clandestinely convert part of its 3%-enriched stock to bomb-grade material.

Israel: Terror sponsor Iran has no right to enrich uranium
With talks between world powers and Iran getting underway in Geneva on Tuesday, Israel's Diplomatic-Security Cabinet released an official statement calling for continued global pressure on Iran until it dismantles its nuclear weapons program. "Today, another round of negotiations between the P5+1 and Iran will begin in Geneva," the statement, which was adopted unanimously, said. "These negotiations begin at a time when the Iranian regime is under great pressure because of the sanctions and is desperately trying to have them removed. Sanctions must not be eased when they are so close to achieving their intended purpose.

Top Iran cleric says Israel must be destroyed, warns US
The recognition of Israel as illegitimate is one of the principles of Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution, and even today the Islamic Republic believes Israel must be destroyed, a senior Iranian cleric close to the supreme leader said Saturday night. Ayatollah Sayyid Ahmad Khatami, a member of the Assembly of Experts — the body that chooses the supreme leader — also condemned any effort for improved relations with America and warned that nothing is ruled out against the United States, according to Tasnim News Agency, a regime media outlet. Referring to those who believe talks with the U.S. would be beneficial, Khatami said, “If we take one step back, then we have to retreat 10 steps.”

US mulls letting Iran keep uranium enrichment facilities in nuclear deal
US President Barack Obama is considering the possibility of allowing Iran to keep uranium enrichment facilities on its soil, presumably for peaceful purposes, as part of a deal with Tehran over its disputed nuclear program, The Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday. The report came as talks between Iran and world powers on the Islamic Republic's nuclear program were set to resume in Geneva on Tuesday morning. Both Israel and Saudi Arabia oppose allowing Iran to enrich uranium on its soil, fearing that it would be used to produce nuclear weapons.

'Netanyahu is not bluffing on intention to strike Iran'
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu “is not bluffing” on his intentions to strike Iran, should the Islamic Republic continue its nuclear program for much longer, a former senior Israeli military official told The Jerusalem Poston Sunday. “Bibi’s not bluffing,” said the retired senior official, who requested anonymity to speak freely. “He thinks it’s the 1930s. The Iranians are the Germans, and history has a sense of humor with six million Jews now in Israel.”
