Anti-Christian Faith Sentiment Growing at Breakneck Speed

Prophecy Sign:  Increasing hatred of Christians world-wide

Bible believing Christians in the Western world are being marginalized and labeled as threats to society.  Christians in the Islamic world are being forced from their homes and face constant threats of death.  Christians world wide are under increasing persecution, just as prophecy warns.

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body. 2 Corinthians 4:8-10 NIV

Anti-Christian Faith Sentiment Growing at Breakneck Speed
Hostility against Christian Americans is growing at an alarming rate, according to a new survey from the Family Research Council and Liberty Institute. The Liberty Institute's Jeff Mateer noted that while last year's survey was based on 600 cases, "this survey that we're releasing right now is almost 1,200. So we've almost doubled in just one year."

Mat Staver's Liberty Counsel also fights for the rights of people of faith. "What we're seeing is instead of religious liberty being protected as it is affirmed by the First Amendment, people of religious faith, particularly Christians, are finding themselves the targets of discrimination," Staver said.

Sen. Paul: 'Worldwide War on Christians is Being Waged by a Fanatical Element of Islam’
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) said the mainstream media try to ignore it but there is a “worldwide war on Christianity” being waged by a “fanatical element of Islam,” and that U.S. policy towards Syria has resulted in America now sending weapons to “Islamic rebels who are allied with al-Qaida.” “From Boston to Zanzibar, there's a worldwide war on Christianity,” said Senator Paul at the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C. on Oct. 12.  “Christians are being attacked around the world, but you won't hear much about it on the evening news because the answer's not convenient. It doesn't fit the narrative we have been told about radical Islam.

Obama's War on Christians: AFA called 'hate group'
Fischer said he’s also heard from various sources that many Christian members of the military do not plan to re-enlist because of the crackdown on religious freedom by the federal government. “Those that are strong in their faith, strong believers in Christ and in Christianity and in the values that made America great, they are the heart and soul of the American military,” he said. “If we start losing them, that really is going to weaken our military and that will ultimately be the biggest threat to our national security.” President Obama worked aggressively to rid the U.S. military of a ban on openly displaying homosexual behavior. “In an effort to appease Muslims, President Obama once said, ‘We reject all efforts to denigrate the religious beliefs of others,’” Fischer noted. “Mr. President, it’s time for you to start practicing what you preach; stop denigrating Christians in your own country.”
