A Global Slaughter of Christians, but America’s Churches Stay Silent

Prophecy Sign:  Increased hatred and persecution of Christians world wide

Recent attacks against Christians in Pakistan, Kenya and Nigeria only reveal a small snippet of the ongoing pervasive Christian persecution occurring in the Islamic world.  Hundreds of thousands of Christians have had to flee their homes with many others having been martyred for their faith in Christ.  For Christians in the Muslim world, tribulation is an everyday occurrence.

We ask you to please pray for your Christian brothers and sisters currently facing persecution, and to please educate your respective churches to the issue.

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. Matthew 24:9 NIV

A Global Slaughter of Christians, but America’s Churches Stay Silent
Christians in the Middle East and Africa are being slaughtered, tortured, raped, kidnapped, beheaded, and forced to flee the birthplace of Christianity. One would think this horror might be consuming the pulpits and pews of American churches. Not so. The silence has been nearly deafening.
It is inexplicable. American Christians are quite able to organize around issues that concern them. Yet religious persecution appears not to have grabbed their attention, despite worldwide media coverage of the atrocities against Christians and other religious minorities in the Middle East.
