Petrus Romanus, (Pope Francis), is at it again

Prophecy Sign:  Along with the Antichrist - the False Prophet

The present Roman Pontiff is not likely to be the future False Profit, but he certainly is proving to be of the style that the second beast of Revelation may be.  With some of his recent comments, the Pope is endearing himself to a world seeking an ecumenical, tolerant form of spirituality that is universalism at its core, (all will be saved).  On top of that, the present Pope is making a name for himself in the geo-political arena with his Syrian peace plan, (could a Israel/Palestinian peace plan also be in the works?).

Interesting to note that bible prophecy describes the False Prophet as having two horns like a lamb.  The Papal Mitre has two points on it and could be described like that of two horns.  Just a coincidence??

Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon. It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed. Revelation 13:11-12 NIV

Pope Francis says its 'not necessary' for church to speak about gay marriage, abortion all the time
Pope Francis is warning that the Catholic Church's moral edifice might "fall like a house of cards" if it doesn't balance its divisive rules about abortion, gays and contraception with the greater need to make the church a merciful, more welcoming place for all.
But his vision of what the church should be stands out, primarily because it contrasts so sharply with many of the priorities of his immediate predecessors John Paul II and Benedict XVI. They were both intellectuals for whom doctrine was paramount, an orientation that guided the selection of generations of bishops and cardinals around the globe.
The admonition is likely to have sharp reverberations in the United States, where some bishops have already publicly voiced dismay that Francis hasn't hammered home church teaching on abortion, contraception and homosexuality — areas of the culture wars where U.S. bishops often put themselves on the front lines.

Three Big Players in the Syrian Discussion: Obama, Putin — and Pope Francis
As world events rapidly unfold over Syria’s chemical weapons, one thing is clear: The three most influential world leaders on the Syria crisis have proved to be Pope Francis, Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Barack Obama.
The Pope has positioned himself as the foremost champion of finding peaceful solutions to the conflict, and Putin has demonstrated in recent days that he has the capability to deliver diplomatic alternatives to the punishing military strikes favored by Obama over Syria’s chemical weapons.

Pope Francis Outlines Syria Peace Plan
News of the Pope’s appeal came as the Vatican briefed the diplomatic corps accredited to the Holy See Sept. 5, during which the Holy See issued a rare and detailed six-point program for peace as an alternative to the use of violence.
The document proposes the establishment of a ministry dedicated to minorities, insists on the concept of citizenship with equal dignity and emphasizes the importance of respecting human rights and religious freedom. It also stresses the importance of asking “members of the opposition to distance themselves from extremist groups, isolate them and reject terrorism openly and clearly.”
