At UN, Israel likely to stand alone against Iran

Prophecy Sign:  Israel on its own

While most of the world takes a sip from the Iranian koolaid, (called President Hasan Rouhani), the Israelis are standing back warning of the dangers;  That there might be poison in that sip.  However, the world has a sweet tooth and will lap up the Iranian sweet talk as fast a thirsty dog laps water at a water bowl.

Soon that poison will kick in and the world will become poisoned to the Jewish state, even as far as gathering together to fight against the chosen of God at the later part of the Tribulation.

In the meantime, Israel continues to cry in the dark with nobody listening or answering.

I will gather all the nations to Jerusalem to fight against it; the city will be captured, the houses ransacked, and the women raped. Half of the city will go into exile, but the rest of the people will not be taken from the city. Zechariah 14:2 NIV

At UN, Israel likely to stand alone against Iran
This year’s United Nations General Assembly enters a critical phase Tuesday, with a speech by President Barack Obama and the first appearance on the world stage of Iran’s new president, Hasan Rouhani, who is expected to attempt to convince the West of the Islamic Republic’s peaceful intentions. As diplomacy takes center stage in New York, the US and Great Britain appear willing to thaw ties with the Islamist regime following a charm offensive by Rouhani, who in recent days has been keen to show his regime’s ostensible readiness to compromise in the nuclear standoff with the West. Israel stands alone in its rejection of Rouhani’s overtures, arguing that Rouhani merely put a friendlier face on a rogue regime still bent on acquiring nuclear weapons.

Washington and Europe rush headlong towards accepting a nuclear Iran
The Iranian delegation arrived at the UN General Assembly in New York this week to an enthusiastic Western welcome led by the Obama administration, without having rescinded one iota of its aggressive policies or nuclear ambitions.  “We welcome an Iran ready to engage seriously through that (diplomatic) process given that it represents the international community’s commitment to hold Iran accountable, but also being open to a diplomatic resolution.” This convoluted message was how Ben Rhodes, US Deputy National Security Adviser, referred Monday, Sept. 23, to the US Secretary of State John Kerry’s get-together with Iranian Mohammad Javad Zarif Thursday, along with foreign ministers of the five world powers.

Benjamin Netanyahu warns of Iran 'honey' trap
Benjamin Netanyahu will counter Hassan Rouhani's charm offensive by saying that the new Iranian president is no different from his predecessor, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, who frequently predicted the demise of Israel. Prompted by growing alarm over the prospect of rapprochement between Iran and the West, the Israeli prime minister will warn that Mr Rouhani's conciliatory tone conceals the same hostile intent voiced explicitly by the combative Mr Ahmadinejad when he addresses the UN general assembly on October 1. He will also warn the West to avoid being caught in a honey trap laid by Mr Rouhani, who was elected in June on a promise to end Iran's international isolation. "This is not honey, this is venom," the prime minister will say, according to Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, which claimed to have seen a preview of his planned delivery.
