Hamas Leader: Israel is a 'Cancerous Tumor' that must be removed

Prophecy Sign:  Israel and the Palestinians

How does Israel negotiate peace with a group calling for her destruction?  She doesn't, and in fact, these people who are described as "Kerethite people" by the Prophect Zephaniah, are slated for future destruction themselves.  The Hebrew word, from which we have "Kerethite", is defined as a group of people who are executioners, mercenary soldiers or bodyguards, (more information here).  Does that not described the Palestinians forces of Gaza and the Palestinian intifadas that are called for by Palestinian leaders?

God is warning that he will take matters into his own hand and will end once and for all the Palestinian threat to the Jewish people.  We believe this will be but a small part of a much larger future Middle-East war in which the Islamic world will loose badly.  This deadly war will be the catalyst for a seven year treaty of peace, (Daniel 9:27), that will be negotiated between Israel and the world.

Gaza will be abandoned and Ashkelon left in ruins. At midday Ashdod will be emptied and Ekron uprooted. Woe to you who live by the sea, you Kerethite people; the word of the Lord is against you, Canaan, land of the Philistines. He says, “I will destroy you, and none will be left.” Zephaniah 2:4-5 NIV

Hamas Leader: Israel is a 'Cancerous Tumor' that must be removed
Hamas's de-facto Prime Minister in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, took advantage of an educational conference on Tuesday to attack Israel, Channel 10 News reported. "Israel is a cancerous tumor that must be removed and uprooted," Haniyeh was quoted as having said during an international conference on education. "The hand of the resistance and the jihad fighters has begun to uproot the tumor, and will work to end the occupation of Palestine as a whole. Allah willing, we will break the occupation," Haniyeh said in a speech which was heard by representatives from Egypt, Tunisia and Qatar. He called for Gazan teachers to "raise a generation that will fight and liberate the Palestinians from the occupation," according to Channel 10.

Hamas official calls for suicide bombings in response to East Jerusalem construction plans
Hamas’s Jerusalem bureau chief called on Wednesday for suicide bombings and armed attacks inside Israel in response to the recently announced plans to build thousands of housing units in East Jerusalem and the West Bank. Senior Hamas official Ahmed Abu Haliba, speaking to a Palestinian news source quoted by Israel’s Channel 10 news on Wednesday, said Israel’s announcements were the Jewish state’s attempt to “speed up the construction of the Temple” and that ”our people need… a new Islamic intifada to strike at the face of the enemy.” Abu Haliba called on “all Palestinian factions” to resume suicide attacks “deep inside the Zionist enemy” and said that ”we must renew the resistance to occupation in any possible way, above all through armed resistance.” Abu Halima also called for demonstrations in the West Bank in response to the renewed building.
