Earthquakes rattle the ring of Fire

Prophecy Sign:  Earthquakes in diverse places

Earthquakes of magnitudes between the range of 7.0 to 9.0 have struck just about every part of the Ring of Fire over the last several years, except for the West coast of North America.  There have been recent swarms and minor quakes from California to British Columbia, but no great earthquake as yet.  (We do believe the West coast is due for the proverbial big one.  If you live along the coast, you should prepare).

Prophecy warns that a huge earthquake of a magnitude never before experiences will shake the entire world.  The West coast will not be spared.

Then there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder and a severe earthquake. No earthquake like it has ever occurred since man has been on earth, so tremendous was the quake. The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath.  Revelation 16:18-19 NIV

No reports of damage, injuries after 7.3 magnitude quake strikes off coast of El Salvador
A strong magnitude-7.3 earthquake struck off the coast of El Salvador followed an hour later by a magnitude-5.4 aftershock, authorities said early Monday. There were no immediate reports of damages or injuries. A tsunami warning was put into effect for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and Mexico after the quake struck at 10:37 p.m. Sunday. The warning was later rescinded. David Walsh, an oceanographer with the Pacific Tsunami Center in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, said a minor, 3.94-inch tsunami was registered off Acajutla, El Salvador. The quake was located 86 miles south-southwest of San Miguel, the U.S. Geological Survey reported on its web site. The temblor took place at a depth of 32.9 miles. The second quake registered about an hour later in the same area at a depth of 35.9 miles.

California earthquake swarm 'pretty bad,' buildings damaged
Parts of Southern California were rattled by an earthquake swarm that officials said could last for several days. Hardest hit was Imperial County, where most quakes were centered. A number of families were displaced and hospital patients evacuated as a result of a swarm of hundreds of earthquakes earlier in the day. No deaths or critical injuries were reported as a result of the quakes, the largest of which measured magnitudes 5.3 and 5.5.

A deep 6.4 magnitude earthquake struck the arc in the Molucca Sea, WNW of Tobela Indonesia. The earthquake registered at a depth of 69.7 km (43.3 miles) below the seafloor. The epicenter of the earthquake was 169 km (105 miles) NNW (340°) from Ternate, Moluccas, Indonesia. A low tsunami reading was reported in the region of the Molucca Sea but no major warnings were issued.
